AI credits

Claude's work is measured, not guessed.

Every time Claude does something for you, Proofyard records what it cost at Anthropic's list price. One credit is a tenth of a US cent of that cost, so 1,000 credits are one dollar of Claude use. We do not round it up or turn it into a points system you have to decode.

Each team member adds their monthly credits to one pool for the whole workspace, so a producer who leans on Claude and a developer who rarely does even each other out. The AI usage page in the app shows what Claude used, per person and per month.

If the pool runs out, Claude rests until the next month starts. The board itself keeps working.

A seat is a person on your team.

Team members: paid

Owners, admins, members and freelancers who work on tasks.

Clients: free

Clients you add to a project, people with a review link and visitors who leave a note on a site through the widget.

Agents do not take a seat. What they do is paid for in AI credits.

Before you start

What happens after the 14 days?

Paid plans are not open yet, so for now nothing is charged and your workspace keeps working. Before anything changes we will email the workspace owner, and you will be able to pick a plan or export your tasks.

Do you need a credit card for the trial?

No. You sign up with your email and start. The trial has every feature and 2,000 AI credits a month for the workspace.

Why charge for AI separately?

Because its cost depends on how much you use it, not on how many people you have. Pricing it in the seat would mean either a high seat price for everyone or a hidden limit. Credits show you the real cost and let a heavy month cost more than a quiet one.

How many credits does a team use?

It depends on how much you hand to Claude. The AI usage page shows your own numbers from the first day of the trial, so you can see it before paying for anything.

What currency are the prices in?
